We at GRIN Europe are very excited to invite you to our first in person European GRIN Conference after the Covid pandemic. Join us on October 7th and 8th in Barcelona to learn more about GRIN disorders and their complex symptoms and to meet with researchers, clinicians and other GRIN parents.
For those of you who are unable to join us in person, the conference could also be viewed via live streaming through our Facebook page and via ZOOM. Recordings of the presentations will be later available in our Youtube Channel, under the event section in our website, with subtitles in Spanish, French, German, Dutch Russian, Portuguese, Italian and Norwegian.

As in previous years prior to the Covid pandemic, we have once again chosen the San Joan de Déu Hospital as the venue for our conference. The San Joan de Déu Hospital is a renowned and highly specialized children’s hospital that is home to most of the European Reference Networks (ERN’s) for (rare) disorders.
In close cooperation with the Barcelona GRIN Team, the doctors at the San Joan de Déu Hospital have been treating children with GRIN disorders for the last 9 years and have built up considerable expertise in this area. The hospital is consequently a center of excellence and an important hub for research into GRIN disorders.
Since the very start of GRIN Europe, the San Joan de Déu Hospital has been a very loyal sponsor of the European GRIN Community and we are very honored and thankful that they have once again provided GRIN Europe with the venue for our Fifth European GRIN Conference and with all the online services needed for live streaming and recording for our conference.

Registration for in person participation
With the above link you can register for in person participation in the Fifth European GRIN Conference in the San Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona on October 7th and 8th, 2023. The registration fee for the conference is Euro 100 per person. GRIN children participate for free. The participation fee includes the lunches and coffee breaks during the conference and the “Dinner with the Speakers” on Saturday night, including free drinks. Should you be travelling with your GRIN child and consequently be unable to attend this dinner, please contact us at conf_grineu@outlook.com for a reduction on the registration fee.
Please note that your registration is NOT completed, until we receive full payment, net of banking charges, for your entire party (excluding GRIN children) in our bank account. For catering purposes, all payments must be received by September 20th, 2023. Registration and cash payment at the conference is unfortunately NOT possible.
In order to complete you registration, you must consequently transfer the total conference fee for all participants (excluding GRIN children, they participate for free) into our bank account. All payments must be made net of bank charges.

ABBA Garden hotel
Discounted room rates are available at the ABBA Garden hotel (next to the Sant Joan de Deu Hospital, where the conference will be held). If you know you want to attend the conference in person, please make your reservation. The number of rooms at the discounted rate is unfortunately limited as the
special room rate applies to a maximum of 20 rooms. In this conference block of 20 rooms, only 4 triple rooms are available.
